9/11 Day of Remembrance vigil
When:Join us as we honor the lives lost on September 11th. Meet us at the intersection of Main Street and Church Street at 7:15PM. We will start a procession there and end at Pete Sensi Park. There we will have an opening prayer led by local faith leaders and a candlelight vigil. Members of the Allentown High School Choir will perform. Volunteers will read the names of those who perished in the 9/11 attacks from Monmouth County. We will recognize first responders and volunteers that served our country after the attacks.
Allentown's governing body and staff as well as: the Millstone Elks, Hope Fire Company, the Allentown High School Marching Band, the New Jersey Fire Museum, and others will be there.
