Firearms application forms for Allentown Borough MUST be obtained and

You will be receiving automated email updates throughout the process.

Firearm I.D cards are now electronic. Once your application is approved,

you will receive an confirmation email with a link to access your card.

You will have the ability to print, save and/or screenshot your I.D card.

Handgun permits are also now electronic,

you will receive a confirmation email with their expiration date.

 

AS OF DECEMBER 22, 2022, FIREARMS FEES ARE AS FOLLOWS:

INITIAL FIREARM I.D CARD: $50.00

PERMIT TO PURCHASE HANDGUN: $25.00 EACH

PERMIT TO CARRY: $150.00 (Money order or certified bank check ONLY.)

Payable to “Borough of Allentown”
