The 7th Annual Historic Allentown 5K

We want
to share some exciting news regarding the 7th annual Historic Allentown 5K
Race, sponsored by the Allentown Recreation Commission. On Saturday,
September 26, 2026 we will bring runners, walkers and our community
together with the seventh 5K Race for the Borough of Allentown. The
Recreation Commission has been working for months to bring this to our
community.
The
Allentown Recreation Commission would like you to know that our goal is to
attract participants of every kind. No matter the experience there is
room for everyone at the starting line. Each participant will register online
through our dedicated 5K race website:
runsignup.com/Race/NJ/Allentown/HistoricAllentown5K.
Each
participant in the 5K will also receive a t-shirt as part of their
registration fee. Runners 17 and younger will receive a discount, and for
the third year we will have a “Fun Run” before the 5K for youngsters and
runners just looking to enjoy a lap around Heritage Park without attempting
to run their fastest.
Prizes for
the top two male and female runners in each age bracket of the 5K will be
awarded prizes, and the fastest male and female overall will be awarded
grand prizes. The "Fun Run" begins at 8:30 am and the 5K
will start at 9:00 am.
