Here is a letter from the Hope Fire Company regarding Allentown's fire coverage.

To the Community of Allentown Borough:
Over the past couple of months, there seems to be some confusion as to who is really providing fire protection services for your town.
As of July 1, 2024, Allentown Borough completed a shared services agreement with Robbinsville Township for fire protection services and Fire Prevention services in the Borough of Allentown. Our administration team knows that this was not a light-hearted decision by the borough council but something that needed to be done to ensure that their community they serve is going to have fire protection for their citizens.
This decision DOES NOT mean that Hope Fire Company will no longer be providing fire protection services for the Borough of Allentown. The Chief of Hope Fire Company and the Chief of Robbinsville Fire Department have arranged that whenever there is an emergency that requires the fire department, both Hope Fire Company and Robbinsville Fire Company will be dispatched to the incident. Robbinsville Fire Department has served as our mutual aid partners for years and has always responded to incidents in the borough. This plan is no different.
Hope Fire Company will also continue to do as many community events as possible in the Borough of Allentown. This is including, but not limited to, providing processions to our award winning sports teams and clubs, our Halloween Parade and our Christmas Eve Borough Santa Run. Just because we are not the primary fire service for the borough does not mean that we are going to stop hosting these traditions while we have the means to still do them.
