Come celebrate the 250th with the Shade Tree Commission and the Liberty Tree on Sunday, June 14th.

Join the Allentown Shade Tree Commission as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States with the dedication of a Liberty Tree.

The ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM in Heritage Park, located to the right of the Gordon Street parking lot.

This special community event will include a guest speaker, the unveiling of a memorial plaque, a tree giveaway, and an opportunity to gather with neighbors and friends as we celebrate our nation's history and look toward its future.

All are welcome to attend and take part in this meaningful dedication as we honor the ideals of liberty, community, and stewardship that continue to shape our country and our town. 🇺🇸🌳
