PROCLAMATION CELEBRATING DETECTIVE ANTHONY RANDO’S
AND PATROLMAN LEVI KREBS’ VALOR RESPONDING TO EVENTS
ON NEW YEAR’S EVE

WHEREAS, there was an attempted murder and child endangerment incident that occurred in Allentown, NJ, on December 31, 2024; and

WHEREAS, Detective Anthony Rando and Patrolman Levi Krebs were the first to arrive on the scene; and 

WHEREAS, Detective Anthony Rando and Patrolman Levi Krebs did a stellar job accessing the scene; and

WHEREAS, Detective Anthony Rando and Patrolman Levi Krebs were able to aid the victims while facing the threat of possible gunfire; and 

WHEREAS, Detective Anthony Randon and Patrolman Levi Krebs were able to call in the appropriate outside resources that aided in the apprehension of the suspect; and

WHEREAS, every day Police personnel risk their lives to protect America’s citizens and our community and this is not something the Governing Body of the Borough of Allentown takes lightly; and

WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Borough of Allentown extends its highest respect and commendation to Detective Anthony Rando and Patrolman Levi Krebs for their valor under extreme circumstances.

LET IT BE PROCLAIMED, by Mayor Thomas C. Fritts, on behalf of the Borough Council of the Borough of Allentown, NJ, that Detective Anthony Rando and Patrolman Levi Krebs be celebrated for their excellence under pressure for the events that unfolded on December 31, 2024 and citizens of Allentown, NJ, are encouraged to thank these professionals for keeping our community safe.
