The Allentown Lions Club's Memorial Day Parade and Memorial Service take place on Monday, May 25th.

Join us as we come together to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice at the Allentown Area Memorial Day Parade.

This cherished community tradition brings together residents, families, and local organizations in a meaningful tribute to our nation’s heroes. The parade will feature military color guards, local dignitaries, marching bands, first responders, community groups, and so much more—including bagpipe bands, antique cars, horseback riders, and youth organizations.

Following the parade, please join us for a Memorial Ceremony at Newell School, where we will pause to reflect and pay tribute to those who served.

Let’s line the streets, show our support, and proudly showcase Allentown in its best light as we remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. 

Please be advised that while the Parade is in motion on Main Street, between Allen Drive and High Street, the roadway will be closed to vehicular traffic. During the Memorial Service, High Street, between South Main Street and the Newell Elementary School Parking Lot will be closed to vehicular traffic.
